Sunday’s Annual Memorial Mass

On Sunday, October 25, many La Salle alumni and friends gathered together to celebrate Mass in loving memory of La Salle Academy’s deceased alumni, family, and friends at Our Lady of Angels Chapel at Saint Anthony’s High School on Long Island. In memory of William DeSpagna, Class of ’46, who started this tradition many years ago, this memorial Mass was renamed the La Salle Academy William F. DeSpagna ’46 Annual Memorial Mass. Bill’s family was honored at the brunch held after the Mass. His granddaughter, Jenna, spoke about the beautiful legacy that her grandfather left for her own family as well as his La Salle family.
