Ms. Kerry Conroy

September 2016

Kerry ConroyDear Parents/ Guardians:

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the new school year. We especially welcome the Class of 2020. We have had an incredible summer with brand new programs including College Exploration and SAT preparation, as well as an additional freshmen orientation program. This promises to be an exciting year with a number of new activities and programs. We hope that this year will be a successful one for your son.

Your son will bring home a school calendar on his first day. Besides the many activities of the school, it also lists holidays and early dismissals. A significant factor in academic success is attendance and this includes being on time each day. Please try to make appointments on school holidays and early dismissal days.

I would like to call your attention to two dates on the calendar. The first is September 13th. This is the first meeting of our Parents Association. This will be held in the Alumni Lounge at 44 E. Second St at 6 PM. This is a great way to get involved, meet other parents, and support our school community. We are a family at La Salle and we could not do what we do without you. The second is the “Back to School” night on September 21st. This night allows you to meet your son’s teachers as well as the new members of our administration. I personally invite and highly encourage your attendance at both of these important events.

We will continue to use an online portal as the principal means of keeping you up-to-date with your son’s work and progress. However, we have moved away from Edline and will be using a new system. Details will be sent to you as the implementation of the new system occurs. Stay tuned!

I am confident that 2016-2017 is going to be our best year yet. I will update you regularly on the upcoming events at the school through my Principal’s Newsletter. Please look for them in your email. Know that I am always available to you for questions, concerns, suggestions, etc. We are always looking for ways to better serve our students. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time.

As we begin this school year, we ask God’s blessings on you and your family.

Live, Jesus, in our hearts! Forever!

Kerry M. Conroy
