Welcome Back-Summer Recap
The 2019-2020 school year underway. Here are some highlights of our summer here at La Salle Academy!
La Salle Academy began its fiscal year in July by welcoming new President, Brother Thomas P. Casey, FSC, to serve a four year term at our school. Shortly after Brother Thomas’ appointment, La Salle welcomed Ms. Kerry Conroy back to serve as Interim Principal. Read about Brother Thomas’ appointment on the school’s website by clicking here.
La Salle welcomed five new faculty to the family this year: Ms. Krista Cernaro, Br. Linus Chenane, Mr. Elliott Krause, Ms. Susie Romanosky (pictured left) and Ms. Daisy Tavera. These individuals will play a crucial role in the lives of La Salle’s students and we are thrilled to have them join our team!
La Salle Academy’s Class of 2023 started school on Thursday. They were welcomed on 6th Street by Mr. Anthony Chin, Director of Admissions and Recruitment, to take “First Day of School” photos. Best of luck for a successful four years, gentlemen!
Over the summer La Salle hosted prospective students for our annual Summer Readiness Program and La Salle Basketball Program’s Rising Cardinal Clinic.
Nearly 40 alumni and friends of La Salle Academy gathered at the home of alumnus and Co-Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Marty Cottingham ’88, for the 5th Annual Breezy Point Summer Soiree. Check out photos from the evening here.
