La Salle Academy Announces Return to 2nd St. Location

Dear Parents, Alumni, and Friends of La Salle Academy,

It is with great excitement that I make the following announcement to the La Salle community. Beginning at the start of the 2025-26 school year, La Salle Academy will relocate from its current location at 215 East 6th Street to 44 East 2nd Street, our longtime home from 1856-2010.

La Salle’s Board of Trustees met yesterday and unanimously approved the return to “2nd and 2nd” at the conclusion of current lease with St. George Academy. One of the main initiatives of La Salle’s Strategic Plan, a plan that was created over a 2-year process, and launched earlier this year, was to research and select the best option for an optimal location for La Salle Academy, one that will provide a long-term solution to accommodate our plans for future growth and financial viability.

Located a few blocks away, the renovated building on 2nd Street will allow us to expand and create new academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs to ensure that La Salle offers its students the best 21st century education possible. These improvements along with our continued commitment to providing a Catholic education in the Lasallian tradition will ensure that our graduates are prepared to succeed in a rapidly changing environment.

We will continue to keep the community apprised of updates in the coming months as we approach the relocation in 2025-26. I look forward to the opportunities ahead and continuing to serve our current and future students.
