La Salle Defeats The Dwight School at The Brooklyn Bridge Holiday Classic
The first game on a snowy day, the LaSalle Cardinals overcame a sluggish start that led to
a tied game of 8-8 at the end of the first quarter at the Brooklyn Bridge Holiday Classic.
Korey Williams (12 points) led a second quarter surge that would leave the Cardinals with a 28-10 lead at halftime.
The balanced effort continued in the second half as Isaiah Allen-Smith (16 points/11 rebounds) and Bryce Council (9 assists) controlled the tempo through the final buzzer, a 56-38 victory.
Tyler Camberlen won the Academic Achievement Award, Isaiah Allen-Smith took home the Sportsmanship Award and Korey Williams was named Most Valuable Player for the game.
The Cardinals return to the court on Tuesday at Cardinal Spellman.
