Varsity Basketball defeats North Babylon 68-40

Playing in their first game of the Msgr. King Tournament, Varsity Basketball used a great defensive effort to secure a 68-40 victory over North Babylon last night.

James Bouknight (21 points, 8 rebs, 5 asts) led four Cardinals in double figures while Justin Rivera (16 points, 6 rebs), Isaiah Allen-Smith (12 points, 8 rebs) and Reggie Outlaw (11points) all contributed to the win.

In a game where the Cardinals had 11 steals, the 22 assists were key to the teams success.

Bryce Council led the unselfish play with 8 assists.

The Cardinals play in the semifinals vs. Nazareth on Thursday evening at 9pm at St. Thomas Aquinas in Brooklyn.
