Jason Snipe

Class of 1999

In November 2020, Jason Snipe ’99 became an official contributor for CNBC. Jason is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Odyssey Capital Advisors, an independent investment management firm based out of Philadelphia. Jason has said, “La Salle has been such an important part of my story and I am forever grateful!”

Allen Wan

Class of 1984

La Salle alumni are in all corners of the world. Allen Wan ’84 is a foreign correspondent for Bloomberg News in China. He was recently named the news organization’s Bureau Chief in Shenzhen and TV News Producer in Beijing. While Allen assumes these roles, he continues to be Bloomberg’s Deputy Shanghai Bureau Chief, Emerging Markets Deputy Team Leader, a position he has held since 2006.

Kelly Grant

Class of 1975

Sadly, Kelly Grant ’75, star Varsity Basketball player for La Salle Academy, passed away on January 29, 2021. After La Salle, Kelly went on to play professional ball throughout Europe in France, Poland and Sweden. After he retired from playing, he went on to coach, most recently coaching the Norrköping Dolphins (leading them to a gold in the Swedish championship in 1998 and 2010), Uppsala and Sweden’s women’s national team. Our prayers are with Kelly and his family at this difficult time.
