CHIRP Plus Takes Learning Outside

CHIRP (Cardinal High Intensity Readiness Program) Plus students had another fun-filled educational experience this summer, exploring New York City and completing projects in the classroom. CHIRP Plus includes honors incoming freshmen students to prepare for the high school experience at La Salle Academy. This year, Ms. Masulo took the group to Central Park, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and the Museum of Natural History. They also spent time in the classroom building marble roller coasters out of paper and scale drawing using Britto work.
