College Financial Aid Night – Jan 13th @ 6:30pm
On Tuesday, January 13th, at 6:30 PM, we will be hosting our College Financial Aid Night. Mr. James Murphy, an alum of LSA and an expert in the area of college financial aid, will be here to explain the process and answer all questions. Any student that is looking to receive any form of financial aid for college must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This can be complicated and confusing for many families. Although the FAFSA cannot be submitted before January 1, 2015 for those looking for aid for the fall of 2015, (most colleges have a FAFSA submission deadline in February or March, but the sooner this is submitted, the better) we recommend that parents begin working on the process now. Go to the FAFSA website (www.fafsa.ed.gov), create an account, and begin looking at what information you will need to provide.
