Juniors Visit Salem, MA!

Over Halloween weekend, La Salle Juniors enjoyed a hands-on learning experience in Salem, Massachusetts. Every year, La Salle Juniors read The Crucible in Ms. Toney’s English class. As part of La Salle in the City, a group of Juniors visit Salem, MA to see the book come to life!

This year, over 30 students traveled to Salem by bus. While in Salem, they made stops at many different sites, including the Salem Witch Museum, the Witch History Museum, Witch Dungeon Museum. They also stopped by the Rebecca Nurse Homestead, a site from their literature. These sites brought the classroom to reality. One student said he even talked to a witch!

The Juniors trip to Salem, MA is just one of the many La Salle in the City trips offered at La Salle Academy. There will be many others throughout the year including local museums, the Seniors trip to Washington, D.C. and many more!
