La Salle Academy Events Update
It’s been a while since we’ve been able to have in-person events for La Salle Academy and we sure do miss it! There’s nothing better than gathering together with alumni and friends of La Salle to work together toward our mission while celebrating our rich history of providing decades of quality Catholic education to young men in need. With the COVID-19 pandemic putting a hold on all of our events this year, we do have some updates!
In lieu of our Cardinal Classic Golf Outing, typically held in September, we will be hosting a Virtual 5K Run/Walk in November. Here’s how it works:
- Click here to register for the event before Tuesday, November 3rd.
- Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) whenever and wherever you’d like before Wednesday, November 11th.
- From November 3rd through 11th, you will be able to click here to update your results. Just search for your name, click “Update,” and enter your time.
- Upload up to 5 photos! Tag @lasalleacademy.nyc and #LSA5K on social media.
- The last day to register and participate in La Salle Academy’s Virtual 5K Run/Walk is Wednesday, November 11th so sign up now!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions still in place here in NYC, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 29th Annual Gala this year. We plan to hold the event in Spring 2021, when we will pay tribute to alumni Michael Ambrosino ’62 and Stephon Barnes ’97, as well as former faculty member, Stephen Kerrigan!
