La Salle Academy Launches New Athletics Logo
Evolved brand identity highlights ambition of students
New York, N.Y., September 28, 2021 – After years of using multiple versions of a cardinal logo on their athletics uniforms, La Salle Academy is proud to announce the launch of their new athletics logo and evolved brand identity, created in partnership with VIP Branding, a subdivision of BSN Sports.
La Salle’s athletes and students have ambition and drive, and they will always outwork their opponents. The young men entrusted to La Salle will always be the hardest working in the room, which can be reflected in the visual of the new cardinal’s face showing unwavering determination as an essential attribute. The new design gives both greater elegance to our cardinal, along with a more regal stance in tandem with the impression of forward movement and agility overall, traits of the students and student-athletes alike.
“The opportunity to streamline our athletic brand was essential and important as an institution with a successful, storied and diverse athletic history,” expressed La Salle’s Athletic Director, Mr. Jerome Pannell. “La Salle Athletics is synonymous with dedication, hard work and the brotherhood that extends beyond the fields of play but starts first in our classrooms. This new athletic identity represents the competitive spirit and intensity of our athletic programs and streamlines the identity of our mascot and supporting wordmarks.”
Through the launch of the new brand, La Salle Athletics will now have a Sideline Store through BSN Sports to market and sell items branded with the new logos to the greater La Salle Academy community of students, parents, alumni, and supporters.
