La Salle Academy’s November Recap
We reached our “celebration goal” for our 2023 Giving Tuesday campaign! This year we raised over $18,000 from over 75 donors. Our initial goal was $7,500 to commemorate the 175 year history of La Salle Academy. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Our entire school community gathered in celebrating Thanksgiving Mass. Father Michael inspired us to reflect on our blessings.
We celebrated National Vocation Week with Br. Edward Shields, FSC in all our religion classes. Br. Edward is the Vocation Minister for the District of Eastern North America (DENA).
Students from Ms. O’Mara’s Photography class took a field trip to Central Park on a beautiful November afternoon.
Congratulations to the November Student of the Month, Neo V. ’24!
Around Athletics
La Salle’s Cross Country Track team won their 3rd consecutive CHSAA City Championship! Congratulations to our student-athletes. Senior runner Sam W. ’24 is the only runner to win all 3 City Championships.
“All things are possible, if you believe in Jesus Christ. “We Are Family” is our motto. We win and lose together as a family. This three-peat is a product of T.E.A.M. Together Each Achieves More.”
– William Hackshaw, Track Head Coach
