La Salle Bowling Playoff Results!
As the Bowling season winds down it is now playoff time and both teams are in the playoffs. They both ended the regular season with a 10 wins 1 loss which was good enough for a second place finish in the “A” division.
The Junior Varsity season came to an end today as they lost to Xavarian by 3 pins in the final game of a 3 game set match points was 4-3. Michael Anorve led all scores with a 158 game in the losing effort. As their coach I am very proud of this teams accomplishment this season.
The Varsity continued in their winning ways by defeating Holy Cross in the first round of the playoffs 3 games to 0. Captain Jonathan Glover led all scores with a season high game of 249 and a 686 series. Sidney Birch had a high game of 202 and Wilfredo Cueto had a 198 game.
Next up is the Brooklyn-Queens championship where they will face Bishop Molloy High school on December 15 at 4pm at Whitestone lanes. All guest are welcome!
