La Salle Hosts 100 At Freshmen Welcome Dinner
Wednesday, May 29, 2019 – La Salle hosted its Annual Incoming Freshmen Dinner to the 100 young men of the Class of 2023. The annual event’s purpose is to celebrate and welcome the Incoming Freshmen and their families. Anthony Chin, Director of Recruitment & Admissions, was the Master of Ceremonies and Jerome Pannell, Assistant Principal for Student Affairs, and Matthew Stark, Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, each presented to the incoming freshmen and their families about the transition process and expectations at La Salle for September 2019. Many of the families were engaged and asked pertinent questions during the Q & A Session. There were many family members in attendance comprised of parents, siblings and grandparents that mingled and sat down to have dinner with La Salle’s Students Ambassadors, Parent’s Association and a handful of La Salle’s dedicated Faculty. Each member of the Class of 2023 was given a “Welcome Packet” containing their individualized tuition invoice, summer reading list, summer readiness program registrations forms, medical forms and uniform forms. Many of the Class of 2023 students were fitted for their uniforms and already signed up for the La Salle @2:30 activities and sports. Overall, it was a well-attended, fun and enjoyable evening despite the rain.
