La Salle Juniors’ Weekend In Salem, MA

Friday, November 2, 2018 – La Salle Academy’s now famous annual trip/weekend jaunt to Salem, Mass., with the junior English class and the indefatigable Ms. Pat Toney, was another great success this year. Each year, the juniors read The Crucible as part of their English course and Ms. Toney takes then on  a weekend to Salem to immerse them in the history lesson that is the Salem Witch Hysteria. They visited many sites, including Rebecca Nurse’s Homestead and the Witch Dungeon Museum. The group returned from Massachusetts after learning that hunting witches is very much alive and well.
