La Salle Open House Welcomes Future Cardinals
La Salle Academy welcomed many future Cardinals at its first Open House on Saturday, October 26th. During the tours and presentations, prospective students learned why La Salle Academy is one of the finest all-male Catholic high schools in New York. Founded in 1848 and located in the East Village, La Salle Academy features a small learning environment, culturally diverse student body, Lasallian identity, and academically rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum.
In case you missed our Open House, there are additional opportunities to learn about La Salle Academy:
- Prospective students and their families can schedule a private visit to our school at a mutually agreeable time.
- We also offer a program called “Cardinal For A Day,” that allows future Cardinals to spend a day on the La Salle campus. Each student will accompany a current “Cardinal” and experience a typical day as a La Salle student.
- La Salle Academy is planning to host future Cardinals and families at another Open House in early winter. Stay tuned!
Read comments below from families who attended our Open House and learn why you should plan a visit to La Salle:
“We had the loveliest morning visiting La Salle. Zion was a fantastic tour guide- he was enthusiastic and answered all of our questions. In fact, all of the young men were quite impressive and very respectful. They’re a real credit to your school community. We enjoyed meeting the teachers and learning more about the curriculum.”
“My son and I came for the Open House on Saturday, and we really loved it. Also, my eight-year-old son is already telling me that this is the school he wants at go to 🙂 I told him you’re still too little.”
“I wanted to take the time to thank you, the students, and the staff for taking out the time on Saturday to give us a tour of the school.”
“I would like to say that I really had a wonderful time at your Open House. I have never seen any students speak so proudly about their school. I am a very shy and quiet person and Daniel helped put me at ease when he told my mom, who was a little bit worried about it, that he was actually the same way and that he knew for sure I would eventually open up.”
“My son and I had a really great tour guide by the name of James. La Salle Academy is one of my sons three choices. We really liked everything we saw and heard about the school, the programs, and the additional help the Academy provides their student to be successful”.
“My son I very much enjoyed the visit and the time there today. We liked the school and specially the enthusiasm of your teachers to show what they do and the spirit of the school. And please thank John, our guide, for his assistance and explanations during the morning”.
