La Salle Seniors Take a Behind-the-Scenes Tour of St. John’s University

Yesterday 20 La Salle students visited St. John’s University’s Queens campus in Jamaica, NY to learn more about the majors offered through St. John’s College of Professional Studies. The students heard from an Admissions representative as well as faculty from the following departments: Computer/Information Science, Cyber Security, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Journalism, Sport Management and TV/Film. The La Salle students also toured the College of Professional Studies’ new labs, including the Innovation Lab, Homeland Security Lab, Cyber Security Lab, 3D Printing Lab, Media/Design Lab for Graphic Design and St. John’s very own radio and television station studios. The visit was complete with a sit-down meal and a visit from the College of Professional Studies’ Dean, Katia Passerini.
