La Salle takes 2 of 3 at Salesian
Saturday, December 9, 2017 – Over the weekend, all three basketball teams traveled to 
Salesian for their first league games of the season.
The Freshmen fell 69-58 and were led by Alijah England’s 17 points.
JV would earn a close 52-50 victory as they took control of the game late and held on behind Theo Noble’s 17 points and Amadou Kouyate’s 10 points.
Both Freshman & JV return to action this Saturday at Xavier HS.
Varsity (3-0) would sprint to a 70-53 victory after trailing by 1 point at halftime. Korey 
Williams led the way with 34 points while Josiah Chandler added 11 points with 8 assists and Joshua Nolberto added 9 points. Varsity returns to action on Friday evening (December 15, 2017) at Gauchos Gym when they take on South Bronx Prep.
